Welcome to my website, which I built from scratch! 🤗

I'm a junior at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Computer Science. 💻

I'm passionate about using technology and data to understand and elevate the human experience. ✨

Currently, I'm taking Computer Science Theory, Natural Language Processing, User Interface Design, and Policy for Privacy Technologies at Columbia. I'm also a TA for Fundamentals of Computer Systems, a required course for all CS majors at Columbia. 🤓

Last summer, I was a Data Science Intern at Oracle in Seattle, WA. Next summer I will be a Software Engineering Intern at Palantir in New York, NY.

About Me

My name is Andrea Lopez (she/her) and I'm a junior at Barnard College of Columbia University studying Computer Science. 💻 I am Puerto Rican 🇵🇷 and I was born and raised in Monmouth County, New Jersey. I love coding, problem-solving, and learning new skills.

In my free time, I love listening to music 🎧 playing card games 🃏 and going to concerts! 🎶 My next concert is Bad Bunny in April — I'm so excited! 🤭 I also love traveling ✈️ and exploring new places! 🏙 While I'm at school I love to explore New York 🗽 and last summer I got to explore Seattle, San Francisco, Austin, Dallas, Chicago, Yellowstone National Park, and Grand Teton National Park! 🌁 🏞
